Volunteer for the DanceBlue Strike Team

Sunday, March 6th, 2022 from 7:30pm to 10:30pm (ET)
This has ended. If you attended, let the organizer know by recording your Impact!

The DanceBlue 2022 24-hour Dance Marathon is BACK! Join us as a Volunteer for the Strike Team, and witness the final reveal in person from the floor!

As a member of the Strike Team, you will work alongside DanceBlue committee members and UK staff at the conclusion of the marathon to clean up, return items back to the student center, load trucks and assist in other ways as is deemed necessary by the Strike Team leaders.
At 7:30pm, volunteers will meet at Memorial Coliseum (exact location will be communicated via this platform closer to the date) for a brief meeting to explain and assign roles. From there, you will be taken to watch the final reveal from the floor of Memorial, and then will assist with Strike as soon as all dancers have exited the floor.
Please note that this volunteer opportunity will include lifting heavy objects, bending/crouching and standing. The LATEST we will need volunteers to stay is 10:30pm. If you cannot stay the whole time, please make a note of that when you sign up. We will ask that all volunteers be able to stay until at least 9:30pm.

More information will be communicated at the event gets closer! Please know that DanceBlue could not do this without volunteers like you! And we are so grateful to everyone who is able to sign up.
