One of the Lexington Humane Society’s biggest fundraisers of the year is coming up soon! Tails & Ales, our annual beer and wine tasting event, will be held on Friday, March 4, at the Marriott Griffin Gate Resort & Spa. It’s a fun event that includes drinks, food, live music, a silent auction, games, and puppies! All of the money raised will go toward helping and caring for the animals. We will need lots of volunteer help all day and night!
Volunteers will be needed in shifts for a wide variety of tasks including set up, clean up, assisting with games during the event, check-in, and other general tasks.

Requirement Details
Wondering if you should register to volunteer? Based on the CDC guidelines, we are asking you the following questions:
- Have you been exposed to someone who has been diagnosed with COVID-19? See the CDC’s risk assessment guidance.
- Do you have symptoms consistent with COVID-19? Symptoms can include a cough or shortness of breath or at least two of the following: Fever, Chills, Repeated shaking with chills, Muscle pain, Headache, Sore throat, New loss of taste or smell. See the CDC’s symptom information.
