About
FUSION is the University of Kentucky's day of service. It takes place each year during K Week and is designed to connect incoming students with each other, the Lexington community, and the University of Kentucky. This year, FUSION will be held on Saturday, August 21st, 2021 from 8:30 am until 1:00 pm.
Online event registration closes on Saturday, August 21st at 8:00 a.m. EST or until all sites are full. On-site registration is available the day of starting at 8:00 a.m. outside of the Gatton Student Center Ballroom
The University of Kentucky does not require students to be vaccinated, however, some of our community partners do require volunteers to be vaccinated. Please note that in order to volunteer with some of our community partners you must abide by their requirements including but not limited to providing proof of COVID 19 vaccination and/or wearing masks. If a partner requires volunteers to be vaccinated against COVID-19, it will be mentioned in the shift description so please read carefully when selecting your volunteer sites.

- Have you been exposed to someone who has been diagnosed with COVID-19? See the CDC’s risk assessment guidance.
- Do you have symptoms consistent with COVID-19? Symptoms can include a cough or shortness of breath or at least two of the following: Fever, Chills, Repeated shaking with chills, Muscle pain, Headache, Sore throat, New loss of taste or smell. See the CDC’s symptom information.
