Looking to make a difference in a child's world? If so, we are collecting 425 handmade greeting cards for kids. We are continuing to join together with Friends of the Poor in Scranton Pa to make a difference in our community.  They will be distributed at the Friends of the Poor, Thanksgiving Curbside Pick Dinner in November.  This is an opportunity to be creative, make the most of it and have fun! Instructions: ·       Card should be handmade – For Kids – You could draw a picture, write a greeting, write an encouraging message. ·       Cards need (to be/able to be) placed in a sandwich size plastic bag. If you need a bag we will have one for you. ·       Cards will be collected in the Multicultural Affairs and Student Activities office. ·       Cards will need to be made and packed by November 11, 2020.

Requirement Details
Wondering if you should register to volunteer? Based on the CDC guidelines, we are asking you the following questions:
  1. Have you been exposed to someone who has been diagnosed with COVID-19? See the CDC’s risk assessment guidance.

  2. Do you have symptoms consistent with COVID-19? Symptoms can include a cough or shortness of breath or at least two of the following: Fever, Chills, Repeated shaking with chills, Muscle pain, Headache, Sore throat, New loss of taste or smell. See the CDC’s symptom information.

If you answered "yes" to any of those questions, we ask you not to register. We are doing all we can to align with best practices and keep our community healthy.
