About

FUSION is the University of Kentucky's day of service. It takes place each year during K Week and is designed to connect incoming students with each other, the Lexington community, and the University of Kentucky. This year, FUSION will be held on Saturday, August 15th  from 8:00am until 12:00pm. 

Online event registration closes, Thursday, August 13 at 11:59 p.m. EST. On-site registration is available the day of starting at 8:00 a.m. outside of the Gatton Student Center Ballroom

COVID 19 Update: Physical distancing guidelines will be utilized and communicated for the safety of our participants, event volunteers, and student organization groups.  Masks that cover the nose and mouth will be required.  Non-compliance with health safety measures and proper mask-wearing will result in participants being asked to leave the event or refused entry to the event.

Requirement Details
Wondering if you should register to volunteer? Based on the CDC guidelines, we are asking you the following questions:
  1. Have you been exposed to someone who has been diagnosed with COVID-19? See the CDC’s risk assessment guidance.

  2. Do you have symptoms consistent with COVID-19? Symptoms can include a cough or shortness of breath or at least two of the following: Fever, Chills, Repeated shaking with chills, Muscle pain, Headache, Sore throat, New loss of taste or smell. See the CDC’s symptom information.

If you answered "yes" to any of those questions, we ask you not to register. We are doing all we can to align with best practices and keep our community healthy.
